Using an iPhone you already own?

If you brought your own compatible, unlocked iPhone, you’ll need a T-Mobile SIM Starter Kit, which contains a new SIM card and activation code.

iPhone activation - what you'll need:

Your iPhone

Make sure your iPhone is turned on and that the SIM is already installed.

Your activation code

You can retrieve your activation code in the activation booklet that came with your iPhone. If you can’t find your code, or if you need a new one, you can retrieve it by dialing 1-844-730-5912 from your iPhone.

Your ICCID number

You can find the ICCID number on the back of the iPhone box, or from your iPhone’s home screen by tapping Settings > General > About, and scrolling down to the ICCID section. During online setup, enter the ICCID number into the SIM card field when it is displayed.

Your IMEI number

You can get your iPhone’s IMEI number by dialing *#06# on the iPhone you want to activate. It can also be found on the back of the box for your iPhone, or from its home screen by tapping Settings> General> About, and scrolling down to the IMEI section.

Transferring service? Have your current phone number.

You’ll need to know the existing phone number you wish to transfer to your new pay-in-advance plan.

To start your service, simply slip your SIM card into your device. Be sure to add service to this account before your introductory minutes and texts run out.
